This Privacy Policy describes how Alexandra Valiquette, carrying on business as Alexandra Valiquette Coaching, collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects personal information. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to Alexandra Valiquette and Alexandra Valiquette Coaching.

It applies to www.alexandravaliquette.com and related pages or subdomains; The Whisper Journal; Aventures d’un monde anxieux; The Anxious Soul Whisperer; Here Again and other programs, memberships and digital resources; private or group coaching; retreats, workshops, speaking services and events; newsletters; forms; checkouts; bookings; future podcasts, communities and physical products; and communications through approved platforms.

By using the website or voluntarily providing personal information, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where consent is legally required, it will be requested in an appropriate manner.

Sensitive personal information

Because our work may involve anxiety, emotional resilience, protective patterns, relationships, leadership and personal development, you may choose to share mental-health or emotional experiences; anxiety, stress, triggers and protective patterns; relationship, family, work or personal circumstances; health or lifestyle information; personal history; goals and challenges.

You may share what you believe is reasonably necessary. Please do not send government identification numbers, passwords, banking credentials, complete medical files or unrelated sensitive information.

Payments

Payments may be processed by Stripe, PayPal or another provider named at checkout. We generally receive confirmation of payment, billing contact information, transaction identifiers and limited payment details rather than your complete card number.

Automatically collected information

• IP address, browser, device and operating system;
• referring page, pages viewed, links clicked and session duration;
• approximate region derived from technical information;
• dates, times, security and performance data;
• cookie identifiers, consent choices and engagement information;
• UTM or campaign parameters associated with a visit or opt-in.

Sources

Information may come directly from you; through Systeme.io, Zoom, Stripe, PayPal, cookies or analytics; from service providers acting on our behalf; or from public sources where reasonably necessary for a legitimate purpose.

Why we use personal information

Legal grounds where applicable

Processing may be based on consent, steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, protection of vital interests, or a legitimate business interest that is not overridden by your rights.

Email and marketing

Where permitted, we may send newsletters, Journal updates, educational content, program communications, event announcements and promotional emails. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing does not prevent essential transactional, scheduling, billing, access or security messages. Systeme.io is used to store contacts and deliver emails.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies may operate the website, remember preferences, secure forms and transactions, understand traffic, measure performance and—only where permitted—evaluate or personalize marketing.

• Marketing: measure campaigns or support interest-based advertising after the required consent.

We use Systeme.io and may later use tools such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest tags, Google tools or similar services. Non-essential technologies will be managed through a consent mechanism where required.

Advertising pixels will not intentionally be placed on private coaching intake forms, confidential questionnaires or pages designed to collect sensitive mental-health information.

Your choices

You may allow all non-essential cookies, keep only necessary cookies, or choose categories through the banner. A privacy-settings control should remain available so you can change or withdraw consent later.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be shared with providers that help operate the business, including Systeme.io; Zoom; Stripe; PayPal; hosting, security, analytics and technical-support providers; email and storage providers; accountants, lawyers, insurers and authorized contractors.

Information may also be disclosed with your consent; to deliver a requested service; to protect safety, security or legal rights; to comply with a lawful request; or in connection with a sale, restructuring or transfer of the business.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. Some U.S. laws may define certain advertising-cookie or pixel activity as “selling” or “sharing” even when no money is exchanged. Where those laws apply, the required notice and opt-out method will be provided.

We do not use sensitive mental-health or coaching information for targeted advertising.

International processing

We and our providers may operate in Canada, the United States and other countries. Information may therefore be processed or stored outside your state, province or country and may be subject to local lawful-access rules.

Retention and security

Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain the relationship, satisfy the purposes described here, comply with tax or legal duties, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce agreements. Marketing information may be kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, although a limited suppression record may be retained to honour the opt-out.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, email, cloud service or internet transmission is completely secure. If an incident creates legal notification duties, reasonable steps will be taken to investigate and notify as required.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, de-index, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, unsubscribe from marketing, opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying sale/sharing, complain to a regulator, or appeal a decision.

Submit requests to admin@alexandravaliquette.com with the subject Privacy Request. Identity or authority may need to be verified. Some information may be retained or withheld where permitted or required by law.

United States residents

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights where the relevant law applies to our activities, including access, correction, deletion, portability and opt-outs for targeted advertising, sale, sharing or certain profiling. We will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable right.

Canadian residents

Canadian privacy laws may provide rights to access and correct information, withdraw consent subject to lawful limits, and complain to the appropriate privacy regulator.

EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Where applicable, additional rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority.

Children and teenagers

General educational content is intended for people aged 16 and older. Purchases, memberships, private coaching, group programs and paid services are intended for adults aged 18 and older.

A person under 18 may participate only where we agree in writing, a parent or legal guardian provides required written consent, a separate minor-participant agreement is completed, and the arrangement is lawful and appropriate.

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally sufficient parental consent.

Coaching, confidentiality and Zoom

Coaching-related information is treated with care and discretion. Coaching is not psychotherapy, medical care or another regulated healthcare service, and communications may not carry the same legal privilege that applies to certain licensed professional relationships.

Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a court order, address a serious safety concern, prevent fraud or protect legal rights. A separate coaching agreement may add confidentiality terms.

Sessions may be conducted through Zoom. Sessions will not be recorded by us without notice and appropriate consent. Participants may not record, photograph, transcribe, distribute or publish a session without written authorization.

Third-party services have their own privacy policies and practices.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in services, vendors, technologies or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted with a revised date. Additional notice will be provided where legally required.
